The original Plymouth Colony settlement was supported by a group of financiers known as the Merchant Adventurers. In this same way, Plimoth Plantation relies on the generosity of many individuals, organizations and companies to support our educational mission. Your organization may support the museum through our corporate membership program, or sponsorship of the museum, its programs and events. Sponsorship and membership benefits include internal and external recognition as well admission passes for employees, colleagues and clients. By participating in these programs, your company continues a tradition that dates back to 1620.

As the premier living history museum in New England, Plimoth Plantation is well-known for its commitment to accuracy and education. This reputation for excellence has led to partnerships with such well-known corporations as Blue Cross/Blue Shield, Coca-Cola Bottling Company, Inc., Dunkin’ Donuts and Fleet Bank.

Through sponsorship, corporations support and recognize the value of our work as a nonprofit educational organization. Depending on your desired level of sponsorship, there are a variety of benefits offered including: admission passes, invitations to special events, opportunities for logo placement and exposure, and a direct link to your company’s website from Plimoth Plantation’s site.

The opportunities for sponsorship are numerous. From a one-day special event, such as Strawberry Thanksgiving, to year-long support of a particular program or department, such as the Marine Department, Horticulture or Education, Plimoth Plantation would be delighted to tailor a program to your specific interests and needs.
