For All Ages

Plimoth Plantation offers a wide selection of fascinating educational programs focused on Native Wampanoag culture and 17th-century colonial life. Great for libraries, conventions, corporations, historical societies, and civic groups!

Wampanoag Speakers
The museum offers programs on Wampanoag life and culture by skilled Native educators. Programs focus on 17th-century daily life, environment, shelter, foodways or Wampanoag perspectives on other topics to suit your interest. They often consist of a slide presentation, followed by a display and discussion of reproduction artifacts. Time is allocated for questions and answers following the initial presentation. All our Native speakers are able to speak about the past as well as present-day Native life.

Colonial Speakers
Drawing upon the renowned expertise of its colonial interpretation staff, the museum offers appearances by costumed role-players, period singing groups, and colonial artisans skilled in 17th-century crafts. Lectures by non-costumed experts on various colonial topics are also available. All these programs can focus on 17th-century daily life, environment, religion, military, foodways, carpentry or another topic of your choosing.

Each presentation is designed to last an hour and can be presented at your function or onsite at Plimoth Plantation. Let us match one of our staff members to your specific interest!
